So I never got to post about this because Peyton surprised US by coming home! But the week before we found this out, we were in full-on preparation mode for his birthday. We wanted to do something personal that would make him feel loved even though he was so far away. We put our heads together... and this is what we came up with!
We had a little birthday photo shoot with signs, props, balloons, etc. We even made a video of us singing Happy Birthday (I'll spare you).
A Love put it all together and we were planning to e-mail it off to Peyton at midnight his time, so he'd get it right on his birthday!
Except he dropped a bombshell on us 2 hours before that and informed us that he'd bought his plane ticket!!!
So we sent his "present" early, and he of course loved it! And then we all got a present, because P came home!!!
